SNIP----the dismissal of sworn confessions of Smollett’s co-conspirators and reams of physical evidence, is the latest example of identity politics . Chicago feminist prosecutor Kim Foxx is among local progressive prosecutors who came to power playing race politics. Foxx campaigned on the Critical Race Theory credo that the criminal justice system is endemically biased. She inveighed against the so-called school-to-prison pipeline and promised to reduce racial disparities in prosecutions......she dismissed aggravated battery charges against a 16-year-old who attacked two Chicago police officers....a pattern of favoring offenders over police officers.
Foxx operates in an insular cultural milieu that believes prosecuting Smollett could have sent another black man to prison.
Jussie Smollett not only denied responsibility, he proclaimed that his innocence has been vindicated. Smollett spent 16 hours at Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH headquarters “encouraging visitors to purchase PUSH gear” and offering marketing tips, Jesse Jackson said....... the political fever around “hate” in Trump’s America is a more pressing political concern than garden-variety drive-bys, since both the victim and the perpetrator are almost invariably black.
Before Foxx is Maryland’s State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, a product of the racism-industrial complex.......she brought inflated charges against six Baltimore police officers for the death of a drug dealer and was rebuked by a judge for her prosecutorial overreach.
More and more law school graduates, steeped in Believe Survivors ideology and Critical Race Theory, will enter positions of power. Whether they erode our expectations of political neutrality in favor of “social justice” remains to be seen. The dismissal of the Smollett indictment will encourage more such social justice-inspired hate-crime hoaxes, and they will continue to find a credulous audience in the media and among academic and political elites.
Smollett is still engaging in victimology, vowing to “fight for justice, equality and betterment of marginalized people everywhere."

Why would it end? It’s incredibly effective. The result is always what passes for conservatives bringing a knife to a gunfight. The Left isn’t going to voluntarily stop doing their most effective tactic. They aren’t going to be shamed out of it. They have no shame. Their constituencies aren’t going to reject it. Rule of Law, Free Markets, Individual Rights. These things only matter to the people the Left wants to replace. The “right” can’t even summon the guts to ask for their votes.
Critical Legal Studies. All law students are required to take it at all the major law schools. it is a course in how to use the legal system to undermine the government and the nation. It teaches how to subtitute Social(ist) Justice for the Constitution and established Law.
Being outraged at the Left's assault (i.e. corrosive politics) is like being outraged that Hitler is invading Germany's neighboring countries in WWII.
It's what enemies do. And it isn't going to stop.
Jussie essentially got a plea deal on 16 felony counts without even having to admit his guilt. His penalty? $10,000 and spending 2 days with Jessie Jackson.
Justice was not done. Hate crime laws were made to criminalize anything a White says or does and to set free non-Whites who assault Whites.
You’re right; they’ve made it clear there is nothing they won’t do to achieve their goals.
For the new crop of Americans that don’t remember Clarence Thomas’ high tech lynching or the “borking” of Robert Bork, the Kavanaugh charade, collusion lies, and Juicy Smollett political hate crime (against straight white Trump supporters) should be a lessons they take to heart.
As long as the race-hate is perpetuated by the left, don’t be surprised when social gatherings DON’T look like commercials today - we are more segregated than ever. It is simply not safe to engage - at work, outside the workplace, wherever. Safer to just keep with your own...

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”
RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
Can it be stopped is a better question than should. Answer, there are evil people in this world trying to make others stupid so they can stay in power. Figure out how to stifle those evil people, and it will stop. Good luck on that. Stupid people, or those that want to be that way, outnumber everyone except the people who want them to be that way. And we’ve seen the results of that: Carter, Clinton, and Obama over the last 50 years are the latest results.
