When you say your point wasn’t that the croissant cost too much, it’s that the croissant cost too much.

>>“Croissants at LaGuardia are going for SEVEN DOLLARS A PIECE,” the New York Democrat tweeted Monday morning. “Yet some people think getting a whole hour of personal, dedicated human labor for $15 is too expensive??”<<

Hey a0c. You are not worth croissants to me.

I can get her a couple of bags of croissants for $7.00.

She’s an idiot if she pays $7.00 for one.

Isn't the airport run by the city/county?

The businesses in airports know they have a captive market as you can no longer bring your own food/beverages through security.

She could go to a Burger King and get a “Crescent” that had some meat and cheese inside for less than two bucks.

And when croissant prices mysteriously double, she’ll demand an even higher minimum wage. Shazam, instant inflation. Thanks.

Good Lord she is SO clueless about market-set prices, supply and demand, economic freedom, the free and voluntary exchange of goods and services between people to improve the “utility” of each person, the use of prices to communicate information about value.

What exactly IS her point? That some people are worth only 3/5 of a Croissant?

What IS she talking about? Wage, price and croissant controls?

What was the value of TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND jobs in LIC??

How many “starving” people would have gotten jobs at Amazon.

####ing dingbat.

And PLEASE someone tell me what the price of a croissant has to do with the minimum wage?

In a muslim country she wouldn’t even be able to give her opinions every ten minutes.

...Ok, so there’s ONE upside to islam. Everything has at least one.

Brown bag your croissant from the Walmart bakery, less than $2, and go back to tending bar.

Should that be “apiece”? That would be how I would have put it. Dunno....

I guess she never learned about Cause and Effect. One reason the croissant is $7 is BECAUSE the minimum wage is $15.

And she has been told all her life, that she is beautiful, smart and more important than anyone else.........she has no inner voice tempering her narcissism.

The biggest question is WHO should decide the price of stuff? The free market system with people freely transacting with one another, or some busybody government bureaucrat who thinks they know better and who has no accountability in the resulting chaos?

Wait a minute, the GOP isn’t responsible for the high prices at the airport. try your local NYC mayor who drives up costs.
