I wonder if the collapse of ISIS had anything to do with his election losses.

Perhaps without ISIS at their door, they feel they don’t need a strongman to lead them?

Or, perhaps the voters see the writing on the wall and decided that Erdogan leading an imminent Caliphate was not in the cards, for now.

No, Erdogan protects ISIS, al Qaeda (Nusra), the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Hamas and the FSA Jihadi’s.

What just happened? 1st the CHP (Kemalists) were attacked by him and they are bowing up a bit. 2nd the Kurds had an unwritten agreement to support the CHP (Kemalist opposition) in the cities. Those 2 things caused the shift.

Another element, their economy is in shambles because of his excesses and his over spending on palaces and the like. Plus his military involvement in Iraq and Syria.

He is supported by Qatar, but he is getting pressure from the US and the EU. Turkish currency has collapsed and this is coming home to Turkey with high prices.

We wait, but I don’t think it will be for long.
