Egypt doesn’t make our M1 tanks, they are license-built export models for Egypt’s own military. US M1s are built in the US.
The LAV-25 and the later Stryker are made in Canada because those designs won out over the US made competitors for the contracts. The design for both traces back to a **Swiss** armored personnel carrier; the basic design was never American and it was clearly better than the other things that were bid; the LAV-25 was originally bid by General Motors Defense.
Bradley was originally bid and made by United Defense but BAE bought them and they’re now part of BAE Systems Land & Armaments - BAE is British. However, the Bradley is currently made in York, Pennsylvania. Not Canada.
