Canada’s foreign minister said on Friday it was likely that foreign actors would meddle in her country’s October elections and her British counterpart said a deterrent to stop countries like Russia from interfering was critical.
U.S. intelligence officials and the governments of some European Union countries have accused Russia of interfering in their elections in recent years, allegations strongly denied by Moscow.
When asked whether she was worried Russia would interfere in the election, Chrystia Freeland said she was “very concerned”.
“Our judgment is that interference is very likely and we think there have probably already been efforts by malign foreign actors to disrupt our democracy,” she said, speaking at a media freedom event on the sidelines of a G7 foreign ministers meeting in France.
Freeland said such attempts were not aimed at securing a particular outcome in a national elections, but to polarize Western societies. …

One thing I noticed is that this Freeland is always tight-lipped in photos and never shows her teeth when attempting to smile (and grimacing instead). Does she have severe dental problems?

I think you’ve hit on a very interesting point that conservative voters need to take to heart (i.e., Polite folks don’t get the results they want). We need to stop being polite; demand accountablilty and vote on the basis of RESULTS instead of empty promises and rhetoric.

I don’t think they intend to do much of anything. They are simply weak, unprincipled and lacking in convictions. Listen carefully to them. They are empty suits who spout platitudes and actually equate talk with action.
They are there for themselves and are quite happy to drift along with the current of compromise and appeasement. Its the easy path for those with no backbone.
Alas, we elect and re-elect these clowns. And they are happy to lie to us to stay there in their cushy part time jobs. In short order they evolve into corrupt Swamp creatures.
What the game is, is that they KNOW that Turd-owe is heading for a drubbing at the polls in October, so they’re seeking an excuse and wish to create sirt on the Conservatives. And oh, BTW, they’ll blame the US, more specifically, that dastardly ‘Drumpf’ because the Lieberals hate him easily as much as the Dhimmis in the US do. In Canadian politics, Lieberals ALWAYS run to the ‘big, bad American bogeyman’ to gain sympathy. Don’t forget that Freeland is a commie through and through, just like her mental midget mentor, Justine. Her alma matters are Harvard and Oxford, under a Rhodes Scholarship.

They are collaborators and have proven this over and over. Especially when they open their mouths to oppose Trump in particular. People like the late McCain (and former cohort Flake) were proof positive and the most vocal; the rest fake it and/or keep silent in order to keep getting re-elected. (Those openly aligned with the Bushes are also vocally left wing.)
This trend of the GOP is well over a half-century old. It was written about in several books from the late 50s, including Goldwater’s book.
