Mack, along with two other defendants former Nxvim bookkeeper Kathy Russell and Lauren Salzman, the daughter of Ranieres second-in-command Nancy Salzman had been in active plea negotiations with prosecutors, according to the statement in court on March 18 by Assistant U.S. Attorney Moira Penza, reports the Associated Press.
Mack had pleaded guilty to the charges against her, along with Russell and Lauren Salzman.

I’m not saying I’m surprised, but to plead guilty to charges like these is huge. As indicated, she must be bargaining hard.
I really hope the Nxivm stuff is the start and that this opens of a whole world of sex trafficking. I think it’s a massive global problem and I suspect that the groups involved have some knowledge of each other. I’m ready for dominoes to start tipping — now I’m thinking of Pizza. ;)

Prosecutors have accused her of recruiting sex slaves for Keith Raniere, who co-founded the controversial self-help group Nxivm and its subgroup, DOS, described as an all-female secret society in which women allegedly were forced to be sexually subservient to Raniere. Wonder how many of these sexually subservient women were Democrats into drugs and alcohol.

Pleading guilty to charges this serious, she must be looking at some jail time.

This is proof ANYTHING can morph into a cult of personality.

What am I missing in this case? I am not seeing an actual crime taking place here. What I do see are consenting adults joining a cult and then going along with the cult.
What actual crimes took place?

I think groups like this take advantage of people who don’t have a moral upbringing.
Like the expression goes, “you have to believe in something or you will fall for anything”.
I also don’t think these people are dumb, but they are foolish.

From what I have seen, they demand “collateral” from these girls. Apparently things which can be used to blackmail them later.
Then they force them to perform sexually and be branded. Probably other things too.

Mack’s indictment charged her with human trafficking children.
Media never reports this detail.
To: MeganC
If you try to leave and are physically restrained that would be one crime. Falsely advertising a group’s intent and charging money fraudulently would be another possibility.
If it were solely some group sex club you are probably right.

Kirsten Gillibrand’s daddy has a connection to NXVIM, of course the commie media didnt cover it since she’s a Dem
To: MeganC
Apparently, the crime is that
NXIVM is a multi-level marketing company that sells self-help and motivational seminars, and that the seminars are a cover for grooming people into the leader's sex cult.

So if these people were criminals then when can we expect to see the prosecution of the leaders of Scientology?

Retarded. Bunch of freaks but I cannot see this as sex trafficking. A bunch of border rich New York wives and Hollywood starlets willingly gave porn pic of themselves and joined it on purpose. They got the brand as part of the exclusive weirdness.
They didn’t kidnap or coerce anyone. Justa bunch of pervs swinging is all I see. Why do we have to protect whiney rich chicks and starlets from themselves?
