All this based upon a deliberate lie.
And they just keep going - unabated. The news media (not just proclaimed opinion columnists) recycled the same lies and reported them again...this story started with photos claimed to be new photos that were actually taken long before Trump took office - that was exposed relatively quickly, but the press was not deterred - they pushed forward with the knowingly false news stories anyway about Trump putting kids in cages with mylar blankets, leftist groups staged protests using kids in cages and mylar blankets to protest the “Trump policy”, etc. It was all a lie...and they just keep going with it even now.
