I agree. Americans of past generations were willing to take a hill or die trying. It would be interesting to see the number in this generation that would be willing to do that. It appears to me that many would like the hill being taken as long as someone else does it.

Given the actions of the American Idol guy a couple weeks ago? He was at Pearl Harbor and saw the bomber fly overhead and said it was scary. Someone said, "Well, this is Pearl Harbor." And the guy said that he thought that was just a movie.

Plus, he thought he needed a passport to go from the mainland to Hawaii.

If govt ever outlaws firearms, I think it'll be after you and I are gone. And I don't see any potential for resistance after that.

Besides, with everything we've discovered about modern public education, viz. turning our children into good little Nazis, future generations just might applaud totalitarianism. Most Germans did.

I believe our “militia shortfall” runs much deeper than most folks realize, excalibur.

Most of the snowflakes I’ve encountered have no concept of teamwork, unless it comes while playing some video game. Not enough of them play team sports so the thought of following orders, of any kind, or “playing rough or hurt” is alien to them. Confirmed cellar dwellers, many are unaccustomed to outdoor hardships.

There are good millenials, I’m sure of it, but the “heroes in waiting” that made up the Greatest Generation could never imagine the kids of today. And if we need those kids ... I mean REALLY need them ... I don’t think we could put together an army from what we have to work with today.

” It appears to me that many would like the hill being taken as long as someone else does it.”

Which is exactly why the left is importing as many muzzies as possible - to do the fighting for them.

They apparently don’t realize those same muzzies would also put a stop to abortion on demand, trannies everywhere you look etc.
