Instead of investigating a billionaire who was elected to POTUS, DoIJ should be investigating US CongressCritters who became millionaires after being elected to US Congress.

Typical socialist. They want to redistribute YOUR money, not THEIR money.

Bernie’s income tax return isn’t going to show us how he suddenly could afford a third home, a vacation home on Lake Champlain, right after agreeing to support Hillary at the 2016 Democratic convention.

I don’t really care, and owning three houses and having been in politics as long as he has it’s hardly surprising, but how would anyone know his net worth from a tax return? Even if a person reported a 7-figure income, how would you know what their expenses were, and what their net income was, not to mention savings and other equities and liabilities?

All I remember learning from politicians tax returns is what cheapskates Democrats are when it comes to charitable contributions.

A “best selling book” by a politician is the preferred way to bribe them. Buy a bunch of copies of their book and let them know what you’re going to do.

'I wrote a best-selling book,' he told The New York Times.

According to Obama, "you didn't build that!"

Where's our fair share?

So a Socialist is taking advantage of and getting rich by a Capitalist system to push Socialism for others.

Got it.

Not bad for a guy who never earned a paycheck until the age of 40.

'I wrote a best-selling book,' he told The New York Times. 'If you write a best-selling book, you can be a millionaire, too.'

Who was the 1980s Democrat who "wrote" a book that was just a compilation of his floor speeches, and sold them by the case to wealthy donors, which became a way to launder bribe money?

Google says it was former Speaker Jim Wright.

Socialism pays well - for some.

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

Some doe not have much ability, but it turns out, they NEED a lot.

Funny how that works. Oh, that’s right, it doesn’t, after running out of other people’s money.

Who really wants to read this socialistic crap from Bernie anyway. But no doubt that he savvy enough to make a buck here and there, another reason why he is running for the presidency.

Even so Bernie may be a mentally challenged socialist, he probably is smart enough to realize that he has no chance of winning. However as I understand it, even if he loses he maybe entitled to pay himself two years wages of what ever the job he is running for pays, and take it out of any contributions. In this case it is the presidency and getting two years wages even if he loses, is nothing to scoff at. My hunch is that good old Bernie, as mentally deranged he may be, knows pretty well what he may end up with.

” ‘If you write a best-selling book, you can be a millionaire, too.’”

You didn’t build that.

Only unlike Obama’s comment, I’m pretty sure Sanders didn’t write it. He hired someone.

As I’ve said before, it’s amazing how often flaming socialists in the media turn into raging capitalists whenever they have a book to sell or a contract to negotiate.

I don’t have a million! I want my million! berny talks equality, but I don’t see it in my checking account! A true believer would want me to have the same amount of money as he does.

Never happen, cuz in marx land the ruling elite has everything they want and lives a life of luxury while the ordinary folk work to pay for that lifestyle.

Simple fact checking is in order here.
Let’s see those book sales receipts.

I wasn’t even aware Sen. Sanders had written a book, much less a best-seller.

Seems like the MSM would have been loudly pimping it, or did I blink & miss it?

In fact, a book that doesn’t meet its sales quota would require return of all or a portion of its advance.
