The White House is asking Congress to dig deeper into whether communications of Trump associates were improperly picked up and disseminated during Obama's surveillance operations.

This is after an ex-Obama administration official, Evelyn Farkas, blabbed on broadcast TV, her former colleagues tried to gather such material.

Trump's White House Counsel Don McGahn specifically cited Evelyn Farkas’ teleised comments in a letter to the leaders of the House Intelligence Committee.

McGahn invited lawmakers to view documents that apparently show surveillance of Trump associates during the transition.

If there had been any similar type of evidence that the FBI had started an investigation of John Kerry during Bush's term, the media would be absolutely certain that Bush was aware. Or they would vilify him for not knowing it.

With Obama, they don't even want to know anything that might take the shine off his halo. They won't pursue it, and when faced with evidence they will ignore it, and then deny it.
