Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying it’s not a risk. Hence my post just before the one you quoted. But Canada is our canary in the coal mine on a lot of these social issues. This is just one of them.
And I do see this as “a bridge too far” for the left. Frankly, they are building a lot of those bridges lately.
