Is Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange A Foreign Spy Or A News Publisher?
The Federalist ^ | 4/11/19 | David Harsanyi

Posted on 04/11/2019 10:20:56 AM PDT by OddLane

Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, publisher of whistleblowers, and Vladimir Putin’s lackey, was arrested in London on behalf of the U.S. government for “computer related offences” after Ecuador withdrew its asylum protection. Assange, who had skipped on bail in the summer of 2012 when under investigation for sexual assault and rape in Sweden, took up residency in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for the next seven years.

Assange’s transparent cooperation with Russian intelligence in its efforts to undermine American interests and embarrass the United States is hardly in question. The notion Assange is a non-ideological warrior fighting to expose the “unvarnished truth” about abusive governments—as The New York Times once claimed—is a myth...

A spy? A publisher? Dunno. But maybe he IS the guy who can connect Seth Rich to Hillary.

Those who had him arrested have been pushing all along that it's the Russians...The Russians hacked the emails and gave them to Assange to expose to the world...Even tho there's not a lick of evidence it's true...None of them has yet given up the idea that the Russians and Assange were responsible for Trump's election...

So this is very bad news in my opinion...They will cover up what was in those emails and focus on Assange, the foreign spy...The last thing they want is to have the source of those leaks revealed which seems to be Mr. Rich...

Assange did a huge favor to the American people by publishing the Democrat emails showing how corrupt things really are in this country. That was the first time the curtain started to get stripped away to show what is really going on in the country.

“Assange is a hero to the American people, and most of the world.”

Yep. I have to painfully go with this. 90% of our people in C I A and N S A are welfare recipients. Churning but not earning.
It didn’t used to be like this.

The ultimate insult is Dems and deep staters illegally using - abusing the N S A database against Trump. How they trapped General Flynn and others.

He is a hero to me. I think my government wants him dead.
Hope I am proven wrong.

He has revealed more about the corruption, lies, and perverts at the top of the food chain than anyone. 100% accuracy rate. For this he must be punished.

And sadly, the President seems to agree with them...

Assange basically said the emails came from Seth Rich.

Jeh Johnson former Department of Homeland Security director under Obama says Assange is not a hero. That is all I need to know. By the way, jeh Johnson has been known to get sunburned underneath his chin with that Mussolini chin in the air...

Well I wouldn’t go that far to call him a hero. Hero’s don’t put others in serious danger, which he did do.

I personally see Assange like Drudge...only a clearing house for whistleblowers. He simply publishes info.

:::::Word on the streets, DOJ will go after Chelsea Manning era leaks, not DNC server Revelations.:::::

Sounds like an opportunity for Assange to negotiate by swapping information about Manning and Seth Rich/DNC, etc.

The indictment is dated March 6. Perhaps this was a final act by Mueller as he was winding down his witch hunt. A favor for Hillary.

Daniel Greenfield pointed this out in a piece recently-and I don't think most people picked up on it-but Hillary Clinton is reveling in the chaos she unleashed.

Most people assume that's she's stewing over her colossal, embarrassing failure to attain her life-long dream, i.e. seizing the presidency. However, I think she's actually gloating over the fact that she's been able to sabotage her opponent's presidency without even lifting a finger.

Assange is a hero to the American people, and most of the world.

What makes him a hero is that he revealed things that would have been otherwise covered up by the leftist MSM. I can't say I approve of how he went about it, but if we had an honest MSM that was willing to report the news instead of covering for Obama and Hillary, none of this would have happened.

She formed “resist” enties right after her loss and funded with leftover campaign money, and has been fundraising for them ever since. This helps fund all the anti-Trump protests, lawsuits, etc.

“So this is very bad news in my opinion...They will cover up what was in those emails and focus on Assange, the foreign spy”

That could be the scenario. Or it could be very good news if he says Seth Rich gave him the data and docs, and knows Rich was whacked, and by whom.

“Those who had him arrested have been pushing all along that it’s the Russians”

Do we know for sure who had him arrested? Some of the bad apples, pre-Barr, or people who are wanting to find the truth?

He won’t burn Manning, and the Fed’s don’t give a crap about Hillary, her server or Seth Rich. They don’t give a fat damn that Hillary sent Top Secret doc’s from her personal unsecured email. Assange is the Sacrificial Lamb warning the rest of us to never question, never try to bring the Truth to light.

There is no evidence of Russian Wikileaks connection

The Author’s fear of more leaks is palpable

So the Government helpfully tells us he assisted Manning. They need that one nugget to make it “legit” to go after him.

That is the route they are going. - Tom

The indictment alleges that in March 2010, Assange engaged in a conspiracy with Chelsea Manning, a former intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army, to assist Manning in cracking a password stored on U.S. Department of Defense computers,” prosecutors announced in the Eastern District of Virginia.
