TV has corrupted life across the planet. It has been used to present life as a Godless world where the soundtrack sets the mood. It portrays heroism as cartoonish battles rather than the dedication of moms and dads who get up daily and work to guide and provide for their kids. It is an artificial construct that amplifies differences for dramatic effect instead of the kindness and simple virtues that people actually experience.
White Privledge is like being the guy on a date. You get to pay for everything.

In its simplest form, “white privilege” is actually just a WASP ethic.
“White privilege” is just another way of demonizing us, to justify taking all our money, and then eliminating us.
It’s true about Asians feeling this way.
My Asian friends call me the “white blanket” when we go somewhere together. Like I can protect them or something. LOL!
Liberals have such a difficult times thinking about abstract ideas like racial differences. Abstract thinking is definitely not their strong suit.
Actually “white privilege” beliefs exist even just within some Asian communities and exclusive of any “white” persons. Within some Asian communities, it is considered “better” to be of a more “fairer” complexion than a much “darker” complexion.

So if that is understood as something you can see in many parts of Asia (not “universal” but very well represented), then it should be no mystery in the U.S. to see high portions of Asian-Americans among those who believe in “white privilege”. To many Asians in the U.S. I think that is a perception that came with their families’ culture, and was not put into them by their American experience.
In a saner world this would be required reading in high school humanities classes...

These books... view Jewish success through a Confucian lens and recognize that it is rooted in cultural skills. It’s the same reason Chinese academics remain fascinated by the Protestant work ethic. Likewise, Asian-American success springs from discipline and dedication.American integration was based on the understanding that cultural skills could be adopted and learned. As Jews and Protestants had both learned from each other. And as the Chinese seek to learn from both.
