Honduran man charged with raping, killing jogger in New Jersey had been deported twice
Fox News ^ | April 12, 2019

The fiend busted for raping a New Jersey jogger before drowning her in a lake is an illegal immigrant from Honduras who had already been kicked out of the US twice before, authorities said Thursday.

Jorge Rios, 33, was deported from the US first in 2003 and then again in 2004, but snuck back across the border at some point after that, they said.

Surveillance video showed that Rios stalked Carolina Cano, 45, before he strangled her with a cellphone cord, raped and drowned her as she was out for an early morning jog in Jersey City’s Lincoln Park on March 24, authorities said.

I wonder how many unsolved and unreported assaults, rapes and murders he committed?

They should do like Brazil does with gang members. Take them 50 miles out to sea and tossed overboard.

Another one. If he had been deported and stayed deported this would not have happened.

We have enough problems without even counting troubles brought in by people who are not suposed to be here in the first place.

It is time to deport criminal aliens directly to hell.

We can use the Socialist method of a bullet to the back of the head. There will be no repeat offenders.

How many other assaults and murders has he done that he wasn’t caught on? They only caught him in the country illegally twice.

Murders like this could be prevented with proper cellphone-cord-control legislation. Perhaps we need a cellphone cord registry. Maybe a national database and dedicated bureau.

Right now, anyone of any age can literally walk into stores all over the country with no background check, ID, or anything and purchase inexpensive and deadly cellphone cords. /s

I was wondering what a cell-phone cord was. Maybe a charging cord? A cord for earbuds?

I’m pretty sure it was a charging cable.

Congress should act immediately to require labeling all cell phone charging cables with warnings of the possibility they contribute to the impulse to strangle others and are therefore a strangulation risk.

Further, they should be redesigned to minimize the possibility of strangulation—probably causing them to fall apart when a certain amount of force is applied. A Congressional study should be able to determine these parameters.

Tax subsidies for cordless charging should be explored.

And, yes, there may be an increase in consumer cost, with minorities impacted most. A program can be set up to be sure the financially challenged have access to safe charging devices—probably cordless ones.

Congress must also must make sure that big corporations are not unfairly shielded from lawsuits that might arise due to the defect that allowed this charging cord to strangle someone.

And conservatives should be ashamed of their cynical attempts to politicize this tragedy and promote division and racism by attempting to connect it with immigration law and Trump’s racist wall.
