That SOB Cummings didn’t want to ask a question, he wanted to spew his talking points. I hope one day Lerner will get pulled out of bed, cuffed and taken to jail....and I wished that Treasury Secretary Mnuchin would have gotten up and walked out on Mouth of South LA Maxine this past week. Enough of these people!!! STUPID voters that keep the IDIOTS in office is mind-boggling!!

His accountant can no more hand over the president’s financial records than his doctor can hand over his medical records. Executive privledge.

I think we’ve seen this movie before. Remember the wall street occupiers? Remember the stench they left behind?

“This is what democracy looks like” lol

Former Soviet Citizen Confronts Socialists at Occupy Wall Street (Part 1, full version)

(and yet the media remains clueless to the recent spread of diseases?)

This is sadly hilarious as for the cluelessness of these idiots. And to think this is where Pocahontas got her start.

Apparently, the whole Mueller thing didn’t waste enough taxpayer time and money to satisfy some on the Left.

Maybe executive privilege can be asserted by the POTUS but the accountant's communications with a client are not typically privileged. A doctor has privileged communications and can ignore a subpoena without consequence if the patient doesn't want the information disclosed, however an accountant only has confidential communications meaning that the communications must be disclosed if under a legitimate court order, even if the client doesn't provide permission.

If the work was ordered by a Trump attorney, it might fall under the attorney's privileged communications as a work product. The Trump attorneys and the accountant's attorneys may find other reasons to challenge the legitimacy of the subpoena but it is more likely a delaying technique than something that would ultimately squash the subpoena.

Is Congress permitted to continuously harass a President??
What has Congress accomplished in 90 days?

Congress is sovereign so it can do as it pleases. Doesn’t mean others must cooperate, Congress has almost no tools to directly enforce its will.

If they actually pull out the ability to jail someone for contempt in Congress’ own brig, that will be leveraged to hell and back against them when they lose the House again in 2020.

Eric Holder was already found in contempt of Congress, so he can be arrested and held indefinitely from the day the new Congress is sworn in.

The Democrats seem to be desperately seeking a way to stop Trump from winning in 2020. They are not doing anything to help the American people either.

They can’t beat Trump in 2020, they don’t have a candidate with a prayer in hell.

#10. The accountant is also under the Confidential Service provider-Client privilege. Don’t know what the legal term is but an accountant would have to answer a grand jury subpoena but I think a congressional subpoena is a different cat.

The “expert witness” privilege is also very interesting.

It’s amazing how politics allows the most feeble-minded among us to achieve positions of power. By the way, Elijah, eff you!
