The major cities are certainly sh!th*les, the desiccated farmlands are heartbreaking, the government is evil from the abyss, but much of California is incredibly beautiful.
Much of South Carolina is incredibly beautiful but don’t tell anyone, it is also home to alligators, bears, fire ants, black widows, brown recluse, diamondbacks, cottonmouths, coyotes, wild dogs, wild hogs, mosquitoes carrying all sorts of disease, tornadoes, hurricanes, thunderstorms, heat stroke and believe it or not, occasional death from cold exposure on very rare occasions. We don’t pretend that it’s all great. I don’t think we have any sanctuary cities yet but there are quite a few wild eyed nutcases who would vote to make the whole state a sanctuary for illegals. There actually are a lot of really stupid people in this state and a high percentage of them are university graduates.
