Here's something to give the Trump-hating left some heartburn, from Axios:
The Trump campaign told the AP on Sunday that it raised more than $30 million in the first quarter of 2019, bringing its total cash on hand to $40.8 million.
Why it matters: The AP notes that this is "an unprecedented war chest for an incumbent president this early in a campaign," especially with the Republican National Committee also raising $45.8 million in the first quarter — bringing the pro-Trump effort's total cash on hand to $82 million. 99% of donations were $200 or less, with an average contribution of $34.26.
Massive money amounts. Tiny dollar increments. For every $100 dollar check, there were probably a dozen $5 checks based on an average like that. It spells massive grassroots support. The deplorables are roused.
Axios thinks it's because President Trump started his fundraising early. I am sure it was an advantage and good leaders always plan ahead.
But more likely, other factors, far more painful for leftists to accept, are at work:
One, the Trump economy is spectacular. After being ignored and patronized for decades by Republican and Democratic president alike, workers are now in charge of the job market under President Trump's policies and leadership, seeing an array of jobs before their eyes. Not only do they now have jobs after a long, long drought, they have their choice of jobs. The jobless numbers are at record lows and it extends well into the disadvantaged groups in the job market who always see less of them - blacks, Hispanics, women, handicapped people, ex-convicts. They're all seeing record-low unemployment. That's empowerment unlike anything a welfare 'program' can hand out. It's also reason enough to re-elect anyone.

Donate directly to the Trump campaign.
DO NOT give money to the RNC, NRSC, NRCC, it will be used to elect Bush League Republicans who are STILL hell bent on turning the USA into North Mexico.
Best election, best POTUS, evah!
But will he have big coattails for GOP retake house? Trump needs to visit red parts of blue states?
Wow! Those are amazing statistics.
I was channel surfing this morning on ROKU and they mentioned the donations Trump hs received on CBSN. The female news anchor interrupted the male reporter who had mentioned the amount and she said, “wait a minute...” and the male anchor told it it was TRUE regarding the amount Trump has raised and what was in the bank. I think he said some 90 million was in the bank. It was fun to watch the female anchor’s face when he reported the amounts.
Hillary raised near $1 billion and outspent Trump 4:1.
That will not be the case in 2020.
The reasons:
One, the Trump economy is spectacular.
Two, the Democratic clown car of candidates keeps driving ever more crazily.
Third, the Democratic-led House is a good reminder to voters just why giving Democrats more power is a bad idea.
Four, there’s the behavior of Democratic-run cities and municipalities
Fifth, there is a massive border crisis
If nothing else, at least invest some money in Trump and FR
Forecasting victory nineteen months before the election without knowing who the opponent will be is a recipe for disaster.
tip of the iceberg, wait til next year on small donations.
and yes, please donate directly to Trump - and not RINO scum sellouts like the RNC.
It’s an interesting balancing act. In some cases you should not expect him to have “coat tails.” After 2016 there were something like 25-30 GOP House members in districts that Hillary won. Most of them lost in 2018, and the GOP can’t win them back by latching onto Trump.

That too may be the reason the Trump campaign is getting unprecedented funds. Conservatives no longer support the RNC, so they’re diverting their donations directly to Trump.
Ill donate today to the campaign, IF Im not going to then get on some RNC list. Can you give me a link?
That’s why money is so important right now. It will buy a lot of ads and expertise no matter who the opponent is.
You probably will get on a list.
I have received fund raising e-mails from all of them across the country, even the execrable Karl Rove.
RE: Forecasting victory nineteen months before the election without knowing who the opponent will be is a recipe for disaster.
I think Goldman Sachs is basing their forecast on these present sorry lot... but you’re right.
In one word: TRUTH.
I am 51. I am going to donate to this campaign. First time in my life.
Trump needs to visit red parts of blue states?
It's my observation that the "Coattails" are longer and wider in National elections.
But yes, campaigning in Red states and in the Red districts of Blue states is important.
If I were the president, I'd put together an "Election Special" aircraft fleet and get out of Washington! Ignore the distractions by going directly to the voters. Might even win the so-called "popular vote!"
