Actually that is sounding more and more like NOT the worst possibility.
I don’t know why he is ransacking Democrats exclusively. His own party controlled Congress for two years and did nothing with respect to illegal immigration. The Repuklicans are as corrupt as Demonrats.
Make it a crime for them to leave the cities, and deport them if they do. The "asylum seekers" will stay where they are put, as that location provides their free-sh!t, not the federal or state governments.
Assuming SCOTUS allows the citizenship question on the upcoming census, illegals don’t count and don’t raise the electoral count.
Actually, I think illegals do count in the census...Not even sure if the Census question that is under review was asking if person is here legally or illegally. It was a question of citizenship.

The Constitution does a count of PERSONS...not citizen vs. non citizen...legal vs. illegal...
So although the question on the census as to whether or not a resident is a citizen or not, or legal or illegal is enlightening, it has no bearing in the count. I believe that unless SCOTUS rules otherwise, it is a body count...
I.E. SCOTUS would have to rule separately on whether or not to count non-citizens in Census because I don’t think the Constitution specifies...
Problem is that the body count is used in assigning the number of electoral votes and Reps...
Again, I hope I am wrong, please point me to the relevant source that says otherwise...

Yea, throw them in the “briar patch” where they are wanted because a higher population means more federal funds for the city and maybe another congressman for the state. sanctuary cities want illegals.

I don’t understand why it is deemed permissable for local LEA to use water hoses, sound cannons, tear gas/pepper spray, rubber bullets on US citizens when they breach barriers where they are not allowed; however, we cannot do the same for illegal invaders breaching our borders?!?!?
No, they should be stopped at the border and immediately returned to their home country.
We do not need to have any illegals bused to other cities in our nation, sanctuary or not.

Transporting them to Sanctuary cities of choice in no way discourages the caravans to stop coming! And don’t you LOVE paying for their transportation?!?! Sheesh...
Remember earlier this year when troops were sent to the border and they were rolling out the costantina wire? Why did that stop??
...Though I don’t know for sure, I would think 2 or 3 rows of that wire would prove a fairly strong deterrent...And if not, add the other deterrents that are used on unruly US Citizens who are seeking to illegally breach barriers...deterrents such as water cannons, sound cannons, pepper spray/gas, etc...Bad optics, yup, but so is having 100,000-person caravans urging over our border every month!

No I did not say anything about voting*...The Census is used in proportioning the Electoral College votes and the House of Representative Numbers...

The Democrats care deeply about the illegals. Illegals would obviously want to go where they are most likely to be welcomed, protected, and among others in their situation. Sanctuary cities are the obvious choice. How could Democrats refuse them of their ideal choice? Are they racist?

There’s an article in Breitbart today about a group of 170 illegals “surrendering to the Border Patrol” after wading across the Rio Grande. No mention of the BP actually defending our homeland and trying to repel the invaders.
Trump promised to repel the very first big caravan and there was some use of riot control agents. Then there were "gassing children" headlines by the enemedia. Did this spook the Trump administration? Maybe. Since then it appears that stand-down orders have been given, and illegals now just get waved in and put into the BS "asylum" process.
Did Trump cave? Probably. It would hardly be the first time on this issue (Two years of wall-less budgets, DACA, TPS, Visa Lottery, chain migration, etc)
