160 years ‘to build’.....800 years old stood......just hours to be rubble of black ash.


It took several hundred years to build a Catholic Culture in France, and it stood for about 1600 years, and it took only a couple of years to turn it, as a living culture, into something like a building whose walls still stand but whose interior has been burned and whose roof has collapsed.

Since then, the walls have been weathering and eroding, and over the last 60 years some of them are visibly collapsing.
