Full title: Dozens of Dems vote 95 percent of time with AOC despite Pelosi's claim that bloc is 'like five people'
Nearly 70 Democrats have been voting in tandem with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez despite House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s scoffing that the far-left Democratic wing was only “like five people.”
Pelosi downplayed the influence of the new-wave progressives, particularly Ocasio-Cortez, who pushed the party leftwards, during an interview with CBS News' Lesley Stahl on “60 Minutes,” saying that despite the noise, the party is still largely centrist and rejects socialism “as an economic system.”
“You have these wings, AOC and her group on one side,” Stahl told Pelosi, to which the 79-year-old replied: “That's like five people.”
But according to Fox News’ review of voting records using ProPublica data tools, 68 lawmakers voted with Ocasio-Cortez at least 95 percent of the times since January, representing over a fourth of all seats held by Democrats.
The lawmakers voting in tandem with the New York Democrat aren’t just freshman lawmakers, but include a number of other high-profile Democrats.
Presidential candidates Eric Swalwell and Tulsi Gabbard both voted with Ocasio-Cortez 95 percent of the times. Rep. Adam Schiff, the House Intelligence Committee chair, also voted with her 95 percent percent of the time.

The mainstream dims are like the frog in a pot of cold water. The leftist temperature is rising slowly and they won’t feel it until it is too late.
She sure is, I wonder if her dementia has something to do with it.
Behind the scenes, I’m sure Nancy supports AOC’s agenda 100% of the time. But, to the general public, she has to pretend that she’s still in control and doesn’t support AOC’s agenda.
If democrats retain control of the house in 2020 (God forbit), and AOC runs for Speaker of the House, I’m pretty sure she would win easily over Nancy. Democrats are that far gone, and Nancy knows it, but can’t admit it.

She walks around all the time showing her teeth in what amounts to a fake smile. She flashes it on as soon as a stable situation is reached. She habitually walks around showing her teeth and conveying a fake sense that all is ok
In what universe are the Democrats of 2019 “centrist”?
They have been way over in the bat-guano crazy and loopy left side of the spectrum for some time now, and they show no signs of veering back from their flirting with the cliff’s edge.
Nancy Pelosi has lost control. She would not help out Joe Crowley when it would have made a difference.

A-ock is young & her stupidity is irrelevant. She’s got the media-coveted 18-34 demographic all hot & bothered, & the fact that she’s pissing off the old white Nancys— who are, to this demographic, more aligned with Republicans now— is not a bad thing.
Dems who want to get elected know they’ve got to pander to A-ock’s demographic, because they are The Future.
