Electronic surveillance isn't spying; it's much more powerful
the Hill ^ | 04/16/19 | KEVIN R. BROCK

... A Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court-ordered electronic surveillance allows the FBI leeway to intercept more than telephone and computer communications. It allows the clandestine microphone and camera capture of the target at all times and in all places, even the most intimate, of his daily life. It is more intrusive than even a Title III criminal wiretap of a drug dealer or mob boss.

So, in a way, Comey is right. FISA court-ordered electronic surveillance is different than spying. It is the epitome of government power over an individual’s privacy. It is the nuclear option in the world of intelligence collection. ...

“It is the epitome of government power over an individual’s privacy”

And we give that power to guys like Clapper and Comey.

Or worse.

Is that what the American Revolution was fought for? To create a massive surveillance state run by an alcoholic EWO and a narcissistic lawyer?

FISA was created in the aftermath of the Church commission that exposed the FBI culture of illegal activities. The FISA court was supposed to bring accountability to the FBI and prevent future J Edgar style blackmail and abuse.

Instead it has become the FBI’s private secret court playground where they are shielded from accountability.

Who could ever have foreseen that a secret court might go off the rails?

Even worse than knowing what the McCabe-Comey group did is realizing that they believed it was appropriate to mock up charges for a (or any) law abiding citizen. It gives ME this vague feeling that they already do that, they were just a little more concerned about the subject being a candidate for President...

Normally, once people start lying, it’s gets easier and easier to tell more and bigger lies.

Authorized by the court. That is NOT “court ordered”.

Rep. Matt Gatez (R-FL) on Wednesday filed a resolution to remove House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) from the Committee and revoke his security clearance.

#BREAKING: Today I filed the “PENCIL Act,” expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that “Congressman Adam Schiff should be removed from the House Intelligence Committee and his security clearance immediately revoked.” pic.twitter.com/1FsMt6NUjr— Rep. Matt Gaetz (@RepMattGaetz) April 11, 2019

Gatetz appeared on Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight" to explain why he filed the resolution.

“I have filed legislation today, sent to the House, that Adam Schiff needs to be removed from the Intelligence Committee, because how are the rest of us supposed to be able to rely on a man, who you just showed, lied to the American people when he said that there was not spying? Or when he lied and said that there was actual evidence of collusion or clear evidence of collusion?” Gaetz began.

“If Adam Schiff is able to review covert operations and intelligence, and if we have to rely on his representation, our whole system is broken," Gatez said. "It would be like putting Lori Loughlin in charge of the college board. It would be like putting Jussie Smollett in charge of the hate crime of the FBI.

It’s spying, and it’s an intrusion into my privacy. Go away!

Never give the good guys any more power than you want the bad guys to have. Ever. For any reason.

THAT is the idea behind a limited government.

Conservatives are often perfectly fine with powerful government agencies as long as a conservative is running things, and then squeal like stuck pigs with a Barrack Obama gets ahold of the PATRIOT act (which was powerfully supported on here at first, “if you aren’t doing anything wrong...”

Even if you had the best president/prime minister/king they should have not one more iota of power than you would want the most evil wannabe tyrant to have. And they scan F*cking spare me the claptrap from Adams of “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people....”

I want a government that has no more ability to control ANY aspect of my life, influence any decision or promulgate any morality with even the best of men in charge than I would want it if Muslims and communists held every elected and appointed office.

A-Yup.

The answer is never “more government”.

My dad was a government attorney, and his position on it was: So you want the people who caused the problem to solve it? Good luck.

Spying and spy are dangerous because those simple words can be understood by the lowest of the lowly uneducated democrat.

Surveillance, now that is a nice clean multi syllable word to sweep the mess under the rug.

So let’s drag out a meaningful and dangerous counter term. Espionage. The democrats commited political espionage to throw the election.

There are tons and tons of Democrats guilty of conspiracy to commit political espionage to overthrow the elected government of the United States.

I would be happy to see every single jackass who thought the PATRIOT act was a good idea at the time (or is retarded enough to thing it still is) disenfranchised and deported to their choice of Cuba or Saudi Arabia, after having a picture of Felix Dzerzhinsky tattooed on their ass.

That, RICO, asset seizure, war on drugs, weakening protections against search and seizure. All have been tremendous historic set backs for humanity in general and Americans in particular.

And “conservatives” on board with every one of them, treasonous, fascist bastards. Anyone not totally against asset seizure prior to a GUILTY verdict should be considered an enemy of all citizens. Jeff Sessions was as disgusting, vile, and dangerous a son of bitch as anyone Obama even thought about nominating.
