One of the clues is that all the proposed solutions involve massive redistribution of wealth, forgoing of individual liberties and national sovereignty, and evisceration of the middle class. Another is that Chinese and Indian CO2 seems to have no effect on the climate, while CO2 from the US seems to have an immediate, massive, devastating impact.

Strange indeed that all those coal fired power plants in India and China are just fine and dandy while the few we have will destroy the earth. Kind of like pumping a barrel of oil out of the ground in the Middle East and then shipping it halfway around the world to us puts less carbon in the atmosphere than pumping a barrel out of the ground right here because.....umm.......reasons.
