What Sessions didn't do is tell Trump he was going to recuse himself BEFORE he was nominated. An act of omission as treacherous as any swamp maneuver.
As Trump himself has said 'if I'd known he was going to recuse I wouldn't have nominated him'.
Doesn’t matter once he offered to resign. Which Trump chose not to accept.
