I don’t believe any of this.
Act of War.
PING
Clint, TX - Two U.S. soldiers were held at gunpoint and disarmed by Mexican troops on American soil on April 19.
CNN reported that the Mexican troops were armed with assault rifles. U.S. officials said the U.S. soldiers allowed the weapon to be taken in an effort to de-escalate the potential volatile situation.
"Throughout the incident, the US soldiers followed all established procedures and protocols," Northern Command said, according to CNN.
The f’ing Mexicans think Texas is still theirs.
Seems to me the Mexican soldiers should have warmly greeted the Americans and joined forces for a common mission - turn back the invaders.
Enough already!! Disarming our troops on our soil? This crap has to stop.
Posted already, by someone on this forum.
This is 100% B.S.
There is NO WAY any of them could possibly not know that north of the Rio is U.S. Territory.
NO.
WAY.
What ever the reason that was used to hand over weapons to Mexican troops by U.S. troops, that "reason" or thought process needs a hard after-action critique.
If Mexican troops are on the north side of the border with weapons, they should be challenged and ordered back across the river.
If it takes a burst of five or nine then that is what it takes and so much the better.
Such an event will be taken seriously not nearly as much by us compared to the Mexican government because they will taking heat from the cartel(s) for letting Mexican troops make such a stupid move that brought attention to that part of the border.
It is very bad for their business which keeps things rolling by keeping everything nice and quiet.
But as for any of the Mexican troops not knowing north of the river is USA = TOTAL BS.
.
A big beautiful wall would leave no room for doubt.
“U.S. Soldiers” what was their origin?
Regular Army? National Guard? Army Reserve?
What was their mission?
Did they have more than one “side arm”?
What were their ROE.
Just too many questions and no information in the press release to form an opinion.
“U.S. officials said the U.S. soldiers allowed the weapon to be taken in an effort to de-escalate the potential volatile situation. “
You must be joking. Those idiots gave up a weapon to the Mexican Army?
Should have told those enemy SOBs to take the shot or walk away. You DON’T give up your arms to a bunch of thugs.
We need to resurrect General Pershing.
NUTS! Or the lack thereof.
Ignorance of the actual borders location is therefore excusable for this armed invasion by the Mexican military? Hard to imagine those Mexican military didnt have GPS and knew exactly where they were. A test of some sort?
I love President Trump, but 3,000 troops here and 2,000 troops there isn’t going to get the job done.
Is it war yet?
Bkmk
Those NG troops either, had no ammo, or the ammo they were issued was not locked n loaded in their weapons. Guarantee their ROE’s are so restrictive, that they’ll be punished for even thinking about loading their weapons. And somehow the mexicans missed the Rio Grande River when they crossed into the US? Probably a route recon for the cartels is a more likely story
So, “established procedures and protocols” are to drop your weapons and surrender to foreigners who are invading your country? No freaking wonder this country is circling the drain.
