Hmm I can see it on mine.
That's because it got cached on your computer when you opened the web page. Once it's cached, it will be displayed even if the website declines to send the pixels, as when it detects that the request came from another client (like me, when I loaded the FR page).
If you're using Firefox to show the FR thread, press Ctrl+F5 to refresh your cache. You should see a placeholder instead of the image.
