More middle easterners are moving to that area.
There are a lot of Syrians, but I believe they are mostly Christian.
That whole area is referred to as “ABE”

Well it’s good that they are mostly Christians.
Two big differences between W Europe and us is we have 1 percent muslims (too high!) while some of them have over ten PERCENT. Numbers tend to make you feel braver.
And our police Do Not have any no go zones, for the most part.
I had vending machines and drove a cab all over the 5 boroughs and even back when things were NASTY, there were cops everywhere.
I don’t get the “no go zone” mentality.
