Pence has the same disease that the rest of the Republican Party, other than Trump, seems to have - which is that they think ‘professionals’ can put aside their partisanship and hatred when they leave for work in the morning - therefore it didn’t matter to Pence what the wife of his COS did.
Pence, to me, is a Plug and Play GOPe politician. I’ve been around too long not to trust my first impression when it comes to phonies, and that’s how the button-up’d, carefully measured Pence strikes me.
