In the year 2019, it’s been argued elsewhere that Biden is overestimating his odds with a political party that’s left his generation behind. Bernie Sanders notwithstanding, an old, white, straight guy doesn’t check off the diversity boxes Democrats love to tout. It’s quite the opposite: Biden is symbolic of everything the Democrats claim to detest. He’s a privileged manikin the far-left flank of the party would love to fetter, drop on a trebuchet, and toss back to the atavistic Republican barbarians.

Nevertrump is trying to keep hold of something they thought they always had and were entitled to (control of the Republican party and the polite legacy of gentlemen politicians). NeverBiden believes it’s entitled to the same control of the Democrat party, but it never had a stake in it to begin with, and it never cared about courtesy or waiting in line.so it won’t care what it wrecks or burns down as it finds out where it really stands.

I’m staying with my theory that Biden is a placeholder for Michelle O, who has already been anointed in the back room as the one who can pull all the Democrats together. She will sweep in after the rest of the field caterwauls ineffectively.
She’s black, female, got the Obama name (Obama’s third term!) and radical enough for the Left, yet not on any Dem group hit list. She will play ball with all the power people in the party. Hollywood and the media will be on board before she enters. Look for both to be crying for her to get in the race as the primaries approach.
Once again, the elitists have crowned the victor before the war ever began.
