I saw a tweet referencing the mayor stating that members of the congregation engaged the shooter. Any validity? Hope this is the case.

New Zealand 50 Muslims killed this was a big deal. Sri Lanka 350+ Christians killed not a big deal. 16 more Christians killed in Sri Lanka no big deal. Islam religion gets lots of coverage /hand wringing Christians killed barley get a mention and no hand wringing 4/27 one dead at at synagogue. Looks like Islam is on a roll here high 5”s all around
