I don’t see the qualifications. New Jersey Superior Court Judge, TV talking head (media whore), no federal experience. He has certainly been flashing his legal brilliance of late.

It is a myth that a supreme court justice has to be a great legal mind. The Constitution does not specify qualifications for Justices such as age, education, profession, or native-born citizenship.
Not Judge Napolitano (because he is an idiot), but the court could use a few intelligent people who have lived outside a circle of lawyers (some of scummiest people on earth). People with common sense and with real-life experiences. Someone to stick up for the working class and people struggling to achieve the American Dream. Not people that rule in high castles and think they are better than us because they sit in Judgement.
I would argue legal scholars have ruined our current society.
