A fundraising event for Navy SEAL Chief Edward Gallagher, who is accused of several war crimes including murder, drew a sold out crowd at Twisted Taps in University Heights Friday night.
“They f---ed with the wrong family and ... we’re going to fight this. We’re going to fight this every step of the way,” Sean Gallagher, Edward's little brother, said to the crowd, some with shirts reading "Free Eddie."

Google: Navy Times Gallagher. Navy Times has been doing a lot of deep coverage on this story. It wasn’t the Flag Officer’s going after him. Many of his fellow SEALS have testified against Gallaher. I don’t know the truth here, but it wasn’t “Obama Admirals” going after a hero here. There is no doubt that crazy stuff happens in war.
Dweebs taking down real men. Such is social justice.
No doubt special forces personnel are called upon to perform some very dirty work, and no doubt much of that work straddles the line.
Context is everything.
Its all unf***ing believable.
America’s Presidents, politicians, generals and the deep state in Washington DC have engaged in wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Niger, Mali that have killed hundreds of thousands and sent millions of immigrants loose on Europe.
And this soldier who put his ass on the line for these people is charged with war-crimes???
I read a book written by the Seal who killed Osama Bin Laden. There was actually a lot of jealousy and backstabbing if team members thought one person was getting too much attention.
OK , read um . Don’t see anything particularly derogatory to Chief Gallagher mentioned . Much mention of typical heavy handed Federal LEO tactics , aimed at scaring and intimidating defendant and family members . Why?
If we do not want our troops to kill the enemy ,why do we send them there ? Now that we have crushed the ISIS homeland , are we going all the ISIS survivor squirters to go back out into the world and wreak more murder and havoc ? Including their harpy jihadis women .
If true , Gallagher did the world a favor . ALL of these ISIS fighter should be executed . Why keep them ? What the hell is the point ? If should be SOP to just kill them . Give the guy a medal , not prosecution . For God’s sake...wake up America

The first incident chronicled in o’Neill’s book was Marcus Luttrell, who had the audacity to survive a firefight with the Taliban. Then he wrote about the sniper who rescued Captain Phillips. Lastly he got hounded himself. I don’t think any of them jumped up and down waving their hands.
Look up the accusations. It’s more than just one disgruntled rookie.
