During a round of questioning with Senator Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) AG William Barr was asked about scale and scope of the current IG investigation [04:22 prompted]. In response to the question AG Barr replies:
“I don’t want to be too specific; I talked to Mike Horowitz a few weeks ago about it, and its focused on the FISA, the basis for the FISA, and the handling of the FISA application. But by necessity it looks back a little bit earlier than that. The people I have helping me with my review will be working very closely with Mr. Horowitz.”

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t have much confidence in the IG.
His prior report on the fixing of the Hillary email investigation was merely the equivalent of a ‘strong letter’ and no one ended up being prosecuted for the obvious corruption.
We needed a special counsel using all the tools of a US Attorney to break open this coup against Trump, and we needed it years ago when all the communications among the coup plotters were still in existence and could be obtained by subpoena or search warrant.
GET MOVING.
Don’t forget....The IG is fed info. Things have changed. He’s getting whole meals now...not just snacks.

There is no legitimate reason for the IG to have taken so long for this. Obviously, he has been spinning his wheels waiting to see if Mueller would be able to come up with something to take out Trump.
The IG is the wrong tool for the job. His job is merely to look into employee infractions and recommend improved department policies and procedures.
Tackling a coup attempt by entrenched FBI, DOJ, CIA and western intelligence agencies is far beyond his bailiwick and capabilities.
Remember, the only reason the nation is focused so much on an inspector general, of all people, is because Sessions stupidly recused himself and had held out the IG and the mirage of a Huber investigation as something real to try to take the heat off himself for his stupid decision.

Who really cares what the IG report says? It's not a criminal investigation and we don't need one anyway. WE NEED A GRAND JURY. Arrest the criminals the same way they did to us. Send SWAT teams armed with machine guns at 2 AM. It's payback time. Arrest hillary in the most humiliating way possible and watch this democrat nonsense come to a screeching halt.

IG Horowitz jumped thru every hoop and leaped every bit of Logic to declare Strzok and Page didn’t let bias affect them, and he also took their word (rather than their own texts) that they didn’t use personal devices for Classified info when they obviously did.
One has to ignore everything IG Horowitz has done to believe this is the time he abandons the Swamp.
He’s a Deep Stater, above all else.

The IG’s report is only relevant in the sense that it needs to be submitted before the next act in this play can begin. Regardless of what the report says AG Barr will determine that there’s enough there to proceed with the actual criminal investigations. This is all about timing and optics.
If this was a Democrat-led operation the timeline would be much more precise: Multiple indictments and arrests with criminal charges would happen in October 2020.
The Democrats are in big trouble now because they cannot control the timing. So, they don’t know whether stalling and delaying tactics might work against them.
Hillary being “investigated” hurt her in 2016. It looks like there may be some Deep State Democrats (and maybe Republicans) who will be in the middle of being investigated in 2020.
I think a rock-solid AG will benefit the workings of the IG...
