WASHINGTON - A U.S. senator plans to introduce legislation on Thursday to streamline regulation and permitting requirements for the development of mines for lithium, graphite and other electric-vehicle supply chain minerals, part of a plan to offset Chinas dominance in the space.
U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski, the Republican chair of the Senates Energy and Natural Resources Committee, will introduce the Minerals Security Act alongside Senator Joe Manchin.

Anything Murkowski is for, I’m against on principle just because I can’t stand her.

Kalifornia electric car fiasco. As I was walking in the downtown area of the capital of Kalifornia the other day, I noticed electric car charging stations in the parking lot of a subsidized, low income housing building. How the BLEEP are the persons who qualify for this housing going to afford an electric car??? Oh, that’s right, I was in Kalifornia, where the homeless, illegal and poor get everything one can think of to ‘solve’ the crisis.
