Been wondering if this would ever bubble up. I hate to think he will be sentenced when he was so clearly set up.

Would Gen. Flynn have a case in civil court?

President Trump needs to issue a pardon to this man. Yes, he screwed up. But he’s paid well beyond any reasonable penalty for it. He served his country honorably for 30 years. What’s been done to him is disgraceful.

If any of this is true, then Flynn’s lawyers should be disbarred for allowing him to plead guilty without first getting this information out in the open.

Unless Flynn was in on this from the get go.

The president seems to be laying the groundwork to begin the process of discrediting the entire Mueller sham.

I don’t think so unless it can be shown that the prosecutors knew of the evidence, and deliberately and maliciously withheld it (i.e., Nifong).

He needs to sue Mueller and the FBI.

Yes. Withholding exculpatory information can be considered a violation of civil rights. It is also abuse of authority under the color of the law as law enforcement are mandated to notify the court and the defendant of exculpatory information.

The Flynn case has been the most troubling to me. His disagreements with the previous administration made very powerful enemies in DC and I still think his “plea” had more to do with his son and not anything that he did, but that is only a guess based on what little we know.

Hopefully the truth will prevail and if there has been an injustice it will be made right.

He will, but it can’t be just yet. I think Trump must wait until the tables are fully turned, until it’s too late for the House to vote for impeachment, and when he has completely gone on offense.

But I think we’re close. Also, although Mulehead’s report is in, I don’t think his “team” is totally disbanded yet. That must happen as well.

If what OANN is reporting, is true, no pardon needed. And if they can show that the FBI, DOJ, Mueller, Wiseman, et al, knew about it, there could be some hell to pay.

Poisoned fruit of a poisoned tree.

The investigation had no legal basis.

“Also, although Mulehead’s report is in, I don’t think his “team” is totally disbanded yet. That must happen as well.”

I think AG Barr made it crystal clear the other day when he said the DOJ was finished with this matter and that things are now in the hands of Congress (God help us) and the American people.

Mueller is done. Stick a fork in him and his entire team. They may have a few grenades to toss but President Trump is lining the entire cabal up for an artillery barrage.

The Flood letter to AG Barr will be almost impossible to ignore.

Oh -- I thought you meant it differently.

I thought you were raising the possibility that Flynn hung himself out as bait to see what the FBI/CIA/NSA cabal would do, and what the Mueller team would do with the information they received from them.
