A month before his inauguration, and shortly after he had finished a round of golf with Tiger Woods, Donald Trump was introduced to an adviser of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the chief advocacy group for American corporations. Stanton Anderson stood in the clubhouse of Mr. Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach, Fla., and extended his hand to the president-elect. Mr. Trump refused it.
“You guys did everything to stop me,” Mr. Trump said, his face reddening, according to two people who were there. “I haven’t forgotten.”
In the two years since, relations between Mr. Trump and Washington’s biggest lobbying organization haven’t much improved.
The chill has hurt the U.S. Chamber, which for decades was the unmatched voice of industry. Its revenue has dipped, spending on lobbying and elections has fallen, and its large-donor pool has shrunk.

Even at the local level, they push for personal taxes and bonds to fund what they want. Just keep feeding business with free stuff and they promise everything will be fine.
Face it; if this organization was really pro-business they would be besties with the President.
The Chamber of Commerce is a bunch of globalist traitors that should be hanged. They’ve been strip mining the accumulated capital of America for decades and auctioning off the country like it is a gigantic strip mall to line their own pockets for decades.
Sarah Palin in her 2011 Indiana speech actually called all of this out way before Trump.
The national Chamber SUED MY STATE OF OKLAHOMA because it passed some modest controls on the funding of benefits to illegal aliens. I have been anti-Chamber ever since. I have ensured that none of our local Chamber monies go to the national organization.

The US Chamber relies on an ability to promote members interests in government. With a hostile Trump, that ability is greatly reduced.
Their fundraising is especially reduced if Trump is so hostile, that if you’re on a list of major donors to them, Trump decides he’s NOT going to do anything for you.
