It sounds a little odd that Trump would complain about Farrakhan being banned.
Trump didn’t complain about Farrakhan. CNN’s pony journalist Brian Stelter just included his name and pic in the Trump article to insiuate he did.
Stupid facebook is calling Farrakhan right wing. They lumped him in with pur types, although Info wars is questionable sometimes.
If President Trump is railing against the suppression of free speech rights, he should be complaining about "Calypso Louie" being banned as loudly as he complains about Alex Jones or similar "bomb throwers" on the right. The best part of such a comment is that the Lame Stream Media can't accuse him of being only for "his" people.
I think Trump’s defense of Farrakhan is in the spirit of “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” I thought the person who originally said this was Patrick Henry, but a quick search yields several other sources. In any case, whether or not Patrick Henry was the originator of this phrase, Trump’s position certainly is in keeping with the founding fathers’ philosophy.
