G.E. Smith was Gilda Radner’s 1st husband. They were married two years. He was also the lead guitarist for “Hall and Oates.”
I’ve seen one Dylan show that was really, really good, and 2-3 that were just awful. As it happens, his band leader for the good show was G.E. Smith.
How about Norm MacDonald?
G.E. Smith led the band at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. (I was an alternate delegate elected from Maryland-04.)
