From the beginning, I've been in favor of declassifying as much as can be declassified. But I've always had a nagging feeling that part of the reason DJT has held back, is that those who have possession of the actual materials will refuse the order and issue a 'The dog ate my homework' excuse. The docs may as well be written on flash paper.
I also shudder to think of the Constitutional crisis this could set up -- deliberately disobeying the president's declassification order. Not to mention the media spin and canonization of those defying the president to 'save the country'.

What is hard to figure out is why any bureaucrat would get mixed up with the Clintons knowing they leave a trail of destruction everywhere they go.

Just my opinion-—no sources-—but I have always thought President Trump was holding the FISA declassification back as his nuclear response if the House actually passes articles of impeachment.
I wouldn’t expect it until/before then.
because they keep lawyers on their personal staff/or have quick connections to them due to other personal issues they create by their selfish evilness throughout their lives so no need to add new ones for this mess.

Trump thusfar has been persuaded not to declassify by the Brits. Means they are neck-deep in this too. He needs to toss the limey scum out with the trash and declassify it all.
Starting the same chaos on that side of the pond may help our pro-Brexit friends as well.
