It’s not the government’s business. The best alternative is to butt out of the free markets.
What would work would be to get them to roll back a lot of regulations.

Not that it matters to the media, but if they actually own the house, they’re not going to lose it - not through bankruptcy and not through medical bills. It is possible that debt collectors were telling them they would lose the house, and if that’s proven, those people need to go to jail.

Having seen steep declines like that in older folks I can only imagine how difficult it is to watch for a loving husband or wife.The only criticism I'm prepared to offer (being a very imperfect Christian myself) is that he should have used pills for his wife..something less violent than a gun.
And yes,please spare me the critical remarks...as I acknowledged I'm a *very* imperfect Christian.

Believe me Government Health Care isn’t the answer. Just look at the VA and how many Veterans have died waiting on services. Stories about Veterans killing themselves in their cars or at home just get sweep under the rug.
