President Trump on Sunday retweeted a post from Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. that said Trumps first term should be extended by two years as payback "for time stolen by this corrupt failed coup."
Falwell, an avid and vocal supporter of Trump, was alluding to the recently completed investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election that special counsel Robert Mueller conducted.
"After the best week ever for @realDonaldTrump - no obstruction, no collusion, NYT admits @BarackObama did spy on his campaign, & the economy is soaring. I now support reparations-Trump should have 2 yrs added to his 1st term as pay back for time stolen by this corrupt failed coup," Falwell tweeted.
Trump followed up the retweet with tweets of his own alleging two years of his presidency were "stollen" that "we will never be able to get back."

Each time a Republican is elected to the Presidency, the Democrats try to re-create Watergate. It’s been going on for 50 years, since Dick Nixon.
In considering how to respond to this consider the following hypothetical.
Rev Wright tweets that Barack Obama should have a presidential term extended by two years and then Obama retweets that suggestion.
Big Time TROLLING to get under the skin of the Democrats.
LOVE IT!!!!
And how would people around here have reacted to a suggestion like that?
If Trump got his Presidency extended by 2 years, the Democrats would find a way to get their next one extended by 40 years.
Most of the tweets are mocking Trump for not only the idea but misspelling "stolen" in his tweet. I don't think that's getting under anyone's skin.
Under the Constitution there is no way to extend the term by two years, and both Falwell and Trump know that. This suggestion just makes them look nutty.
Referees give extra time in soccer...why can’t the same be true in politics?
Because soccer isn't governed by the Constitution and presidential terms are?
Trump is just tweaking his opposition. The more they are foaming at the mouth moonbats at election time the better this will go for him.
Yes, but now the concept is in play.
Most people know a joke when they hear it. That’s all it is.
Yeah right.
You and I were thinking the same thing. It is unconstitutional and i lost respect for Fallwell even suggesting it.
Executive orders under Obama bad, executive orders under Trump huge.
That was true early in his term where something like this would have the talking heads at CNN and MSNBC shaking their heads and delivering thoughtful blather on whether Trump really thought he could extend his term. Now his opponents just mock him for things like this. Trolling is only useful when it works and things like this aren't working anymore.
Is it now?

Yes, PDJT is great at messing with their heads. And they take him so seriously that it is funny to the max.
Listen to Rush later today and Trump’s strategy will make more sense, and maybe Rush will explain why he intentionally misspelled the word too.
He’s just trolling the opposition. He will make this tweet, then the Democrats will talk about it for a week.
