It has been less than two weeks since former Vice President Joe Biden launched his 2020 bid, but numerous reporters have already voiced their concerns about the treatment they have received from his staff.
Freelance journalist Marcus DiPaola was covering the Biden campaign in Iowa last week where he tweeted the accounts of different reporters, including himself, of their interactions with campaign staffers, which he described to Fox News as "out of line, totally."
One unidentified reporter told DiPaola that while covering campaign events in Iowa, a member of Biden's campaign told the reporter to leave, with the campaign staffer saying she was just doing her job. She then took a photo of the reporter who refused to leave.

Biden is in Trouble! Now that he is the front runner by far in the polls, the other 20 or so will attack him for the slightest thing and the PRESS HAS TO REPORT IT. Why? Because Biden doesn’t own the Press like Hillary.

A hundred years ago, journalists would have been fairly liquored-up from day one of a campaign, and nothing could un-nerve them. Totally different type of crowd these days.
Biden’s staff is trying to keep reporters from having open access to Biden. Biden is clearly aging. He is likely to say silly, incomprehensible things in unscripted encounters. His staff is trying to protect his image and narrative from realistic inspection. Despite the Trump hatred that motivates the MSM, doubt the Biden staff will be able to protect Biden since at this stage many in the MSM favor other Democrats. The MSM propagandists are not comfortable with a flawed Biden as their candidate.
Although I think today’s journalists are a lost cause, imagine the juxtaposition:
Biden has to be protected and sequestered. Any observant journalist knows that Joe will say and do utterly incomprehensible stuff if he’s not watched carefully. He’s old and past his prime.
Trump is just out front, extemporaneous, a master of his message, and forthright in his beliefs. No one manages Trump because Trump can manage himself just fine.
What kind of president do you want?

You can prep Joe on what to say behind the scenes but what happens when he gets out in front of the camera? They can’t hold his hand while he’s talking to reporters. Joe is just waiting to be Joe and blow up. Reprogramming a 76-year-old is almost impossible. Try changing your golf swing no matter how old you are it take months. Having Trump use a Teleprompter was a big deal for him. But he took him a while to get used to it. Joe’s going down.

Exactly. If Biden does emerge as the candidate, he and his narrative will be protected and promoted by the MSM. However at this stage many in the MSM still have their Bernie, Mayor Pete or other leftist fantasies. If Biden were to actually win Iowa and New Hampshire, they will close ranks very quickly. But for now its up to Biden’s staff to do the primary protection and keep the truth of his true nature away from the public.

Kamala Harris is the choice. Either Buttwhatever or Julian Castro is the VP. The rest are going to get nice paydays from the contributions and they will kick some back to the DNC.
We should just get this over and done with already.
I have a friend who does freelance sound work. He was working at an event where Slo Joe was appearing as VP under Obozo. His description of the lengths his handlers had to go just to keep him walking in the right direction without getting lost or distracted. They actually had to put up pipe railings (like at conference venues separating exhibit booths, usually used with drape fabric as separators), handrail height from the floor on both sides as a sort of ‘path’ for him to enter at the door all the way to the stage/dais/venue. He apparently wanders off if left to open areas. This was as the sitting VP, think how much more distracted he will be when he encounters the dozen or so Lib/DemonRat followers he may encounter at his rallies!
Once upon a time, all those tough liquored up reporters cared about was the story — and getting it first.
