Because this is what Leftists do. They're total frauds. Every election cycle, they go out and pretend to give a damn or be down with regular folks, only to revert back into the elitist snobs they are when they win. If you call this out and change some voters mind, then how are you going to defeat them?
Republicans do similar things. For example, George W. Bush had a ranch with no cattle, which he just purchased before becoming a presidential candidate. So he could pretend to be a “regular guy” while selling out our country to the globalists. Paul Ryan did stuff like that. So, I think it’s better not to get sucked into this.
