At the core of this, Obama and Clinton had dirt on Comey that was used to force him to betray his oath and the FBI. Too bad tapes of those conversations with the Obama/Clinton acolytes are not available. Suspect that Comey did record some of those conversations and he just might use them to avoid actual prison. If he faces jail time, he’ll realize his reputation is already ruined and it will be better to cooperate rather than go to prison.

If Comey thought he faced legal jeopardy he would not be running his mouth 24/7/365. Obama era Democrat crimes are a political “matter” now to be decided in the 2020 election and everybody inside the beltway understands that. The sooner Main Street understands the fix is in the better.
