open willful ongoing sin isn’t mental illness- it’s an abomination that the world is trying to force everyone to accept- Yes- some might be mentally ill- but the majority of those who practice the abomination have made a willful decisive decision to disobey God and follow their own sinful lusts- I wouldn’t describe the majority of them as mentally ill- although Those who choose sin and evil over God’s way usually end up mentally ill-
By mental illness I mean the desire for sex with your own sex. That desire simply isn’t there in most of us. And though I believe it is a “choice”, I’ve known enough homosexuals and their childhood history to know that it is a choice that a lot of us would have made in their shoes. I compare homosexual acts to heterosexual acts with someone to whom you are not married.
