Democrat presidential hopeful Kamala Harris says she will use executive action to criminalize selling more than five guns a year without a background check.
This follows a consistent Democrat-led push to criminalize all private gun sales via universal background checks. On February 27, Breitbart News reported that the Democrat-run House passed legislation to require a background check for every gun sale, thus criminalizing someone who sells a gun to a decades-long neighbor without government approval. It also criminalizes a friend who sells a gun to a lifelong friend without asking for government approval.
During a May 12 appearance on CNN’s State of the Union, Harris explained the scope of her executive action plans, saying, “For anyone who sells more than five guns a year, they will be required to perform background checks on the people they sell them to.”
Tapper asked if executive action can really be used to implement such a substantial requirement on private gun sales and Harris responded, “Yes it can.”
Harris’ push to criminalize private gun sales of more than five guns annually followed her talking about the shooting at Colorado’s STEM School Highlands Ranch.

Absolutely. Surprised that I haven’t been based yet about not ‘putting this behind me’. I still cannot understand these 2 people, of all people on our side, given the choice we had by May 2016.

Because that's how you get a mass outbreak of third holes drilled.
No plans to go after those violent criminals on the street who buy and sell guns. Because that is the intention: to take guns from non-violent, honest citizens and leave them in the hands of violent, career criminals so they can waltz right in and take what is “rightfully” theirs from their “oppressors.”

Exactly. I do not want the government to know what I have or don’t have in my house. Or,as the running joke goes, all my guns were lost in a tragic boating accident, Mr Goverment Bureaucrat LOL
Gun laws can be used as payback for disgruntled employees. My husband had to fire an employee. The guy called the police and said that my husband was shooting out the car with his hunting rifles. Not true. But the cops showed up at the house, asking to see the guns, which were properly stored and locked.
My husband locked them because it’s the law and because he knows me he knows I have suicidal tendencies. I couldn’t use them if I wanted to. I’m doing better now though by the way.
The stupidity is mind-boggling. Another dopey, unenforceable law will have no impact on crime, especially since criminals, by definition, do not obey laws anyway.
