I often wonder why they don’t make an effort to improve the land on which they live.

Those with good ideas and ambition certainly would have made something of the place where they ACTUALLY LIVE.

But no, they gather and complain and cry and throw rocks and do nothing constructive.

Somewhat like the democrat party.

They never have.

That area was the place you sent your outcasts, the worthless ones. Some European Jews started moving back home in the late 1800's. They brought their work ethic and their blessing with them and the land they bought began to prosper. As more began to arrive they began to plant trees, vines and farm the land.

This resulted in several massacres of Jews by the mohammedans. How dare they prosper in this wretched land! This was all before there was a state of Israel.

To this day you can tell where the mohammedan land ends and the Jewish land begins by the line of green. On one side green and on the other side sand. I have no doubt that part of it has to do with the blessing of God. I am equally sure that the other part of it has to do with the desire to work.
