The 89 Import Ban has not been eliminated by Trump. He pulled out of the unratified 2014 Arms Trade Treaty. The import ban of 1989 was not a treaty and was not at all related to the ATT.
HK has never been barred from import, there are just certain configurations and models they cannot import.

I am aware of no AR-15 pattern rifles being sold new that are of imported origin, per the ATF’s rulings on receiver manufacturing country = country of origin. There are some shotguns and .22LR plinking rifles that are imported that look like AR-15s, but are not.
