DiGenova: ‘For the first time I actually believe’ people will go to jail over ‘Spygate’

Former federal prosecutor Joe diGenova, long an advocate for justice to be done over the Obama-era “Spygate” scandal aimed at deposing POTUS Donald Trump said Tuesday night that for the “first time” he actually believes at least some of the co-conspirators will get some jail time.

Specifically, diGenova, who served as a federal prosecutor in the D.C. district, said that fired FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan should be lawyering up big time.

“This is very serious business,” he told Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

He has a lot of faith in Barr as I am also beginning to as well.

Barr is no doubt concerned about getting Horowitz and Huber to do THEIR jobs. Those two are probably inclined to whitewash their “investigations”.

It looks like Barr is just a straight arrow who is genuinely shocked by the absolute state of things. With some support from the GOP, this could really take off. With GOPers still out there bleating about muh Russian hacking, Barr isn’t likely to get a lot help. Still, Trump is acting like he could take us to war in the ME, so the GOP might wake up a little. If that doesn’t excite them, it’s time to check their vitals.

Think unmaskings. We haven’t heard a lot about this but lots of people were involved in doing it. To me this is one of the most serious transgressions in Spygate and one that has the potential to round up several prominent members of the Obama administration.
