Good evening, radu...very little homework. Every 2 weeks I have a pile of papers related to timesheets, corrections, what I did to get folks paid correctly. Then they need sorting and alphabetizing, things I can do at home. So, here I am...sorting and alphabetizing for 4/12. LOL!

Oh my goodness! 4/12??? LOL

At least it’s something you can do at your own pace.

Yeah, Mystery still shows up, and sometimes he even talks to me, but I can’t get near him. I ran him off too many times. But, I have been able to pet Ghost on his back and he didn’t run; and I even scritched Midnight and he just looked at me and kept eating. Food is a big deal to him.

It was pretty warm here, too. It was probably about 88 for a high, but cooled off nicely when the sun went down. We’ve been fortunate. For the last I don’t know how many years, May has been one of our hottest months, and this has been a pleasant surprise.

Glad you had pretty weather, bur ugh to the steamy part. Ya don’t want to be too far away from and AC when that’s going on! On the kitty thread you said something about “38” cats. I thought it was holding at 37. Do you have a new addition? I hope not, for your sake! LOL!

If you’re nice to him all the time now, he’ll eventually calm down. It’ll take a while to gain his trust.

Glad to hear Ghost is FINALLY getting comfortable enough to stay put when he gets scritched. He’s felt how nice it is now and will want more and more as time goes on. If he can come around, Midnight will too. :-)

We hit 85 that I saw and was muggy even at the beginning of the day. After the thunderstorm, it was really bad. They’re calling for around 90 the next couple of days so it’s going to be pretty uncomfortable. Ugh!

I’d miscounted the cats for a while, thinking there were 37. But when I bought flea drops for them, I realized the mistake. It gets kinda hard to keep up after a while. LOL

THUNDER DIRECTLY OVERHEAD!!! Really made me jump...this is so rare. I suspect had I been outside I would have even seen lightning. Still blue sky all around.

LOL!!! Sounds like someone would enjoy some time down south during spring and summer. Nothing like a good ol’ thunderstorm to get the adrenaline pumpin’.
You did say you wanted some rain. :-)

We had a goody this afternoon. Brief but noisy and it dumped big fat raindrops in the process.

Well, it’s not like you can line them all up and take a head count. LOL! It’s a wonder you don’t count some of them twice. With 5 black cats, I have to count heads to figure out who’s missing. A couple of them are much the same size as Li’l Bit except for the notches on their ears.

What kind of flea drops do you use and how are they administered? With so many and with them roaming heaven knows where, I should use them too. I’ve never seen so much as 1 flea on Ginger or Peaches.

Okay, just hangin'. I'm not making a huge deal out of this, but yesterday. May 15th, was a special day.

30 years ago, 15 May 1989, I arrived on Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, for 13 weeks of fun and sun.

In fact, this is the only time I've mentioned this, because I trust y'all here more than I do the people I deal with daily.
