I once worked with a young lady who was going to college and working as a Congressional intern. This was about ten years ago. She had the unfortunate experience of having to interact with Pelosi on a few occasions. She was just as nasty and arrogant as you would expect, according to my co-worker. She treated her like dirt, sending her to fetch something for her to drink like she was her servant. Extremely bossy, and nasty when things didn’t go exactly how she wanted them.
That is not a surprise at all. Interestingly, anecdotal evidence indicates this is far more of an issue on the Left than the Right, at least at the Presidential level.
White House domestic staff hated the Carters, Clintons, and Obama, but felt resepected and well treated by the Reagans, and the Bushes.
